I have a feeling that the banking scandal is just the tip of the iceberg, and when we find out the extent of his treachery, everything he has done to Israel will make sad sense.

May justice prevail!

(IsraelNN.com) Anti-Corruption Activist, Aryeh Avneri, head of the Ometz (Courage) activist group, expects Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will be indicted for interfering in the Bank Leumi tender to help two business friends.

Avinery promises surprises in the case and says his organization recently handed over a large amount of incriminating evidence to the authorities. He made the statements after the Knesset’s Committee Against Corruption decided to adopt the Chief Accountant's plan against corruption.

Chief Accountant, Yaron Zelicha, said this week that the Olmert government is the most corrupt in the country’s history.
