B"H
Hamas and Fatah are falling all over themselves to laud terrorists who have killed and maimed innocent Jews. Fatah is no "peace partner." We knew they weren't, but Olmert and Rice and Blair have done their best to pretend that the terrorists aren't terrorists.
I guess we should all pretend that the government is a government too?
I know, let's pretend that Shas is actually a religious party! Let's pretend that that NRP cares about Israel! Let's pretend that Likud is not a traitor's party made up of the worst of the worst!
Let's pretend that after Purim, Olmert will admit his government was just one big Purim Spiel, he is leaving office, and the Israeli public can elect someone who can actually fight terrorism.
Wait! Whose that?
Is there ANYONE in the government ready to do that? (Don't say BiBi. Don't say BiBi. Don't say BiBi . . . he is wearing the biggest mask of all!).

JERUSALEM – An official delegation from Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah organization this weekend visited the mourning tent of a senior Fatah terrorist accused by security officials here of planning the Jerusalem seminary shooting massacre two weeks ago in which eight students were killed.
The terrorist, Muhammad Shehadi, was eliminated in Bethlehem in an Israeli anti-terror operation last Thursday. The Israeli media has been portraying Shehadi as a senior leader from the Iranian-backed Islamic Jihad terrorist organization even though Shehadi is a well-known Fatah activist.
"Of course he was Fatah," PA minister and Fatah Legislative Council member Qadura Fares told WND. "We were even in jail together as Fatah members."
Fares was among a delegation of eight other Fatah members who visited the Shehadi family's mourning tent in Bethlehem. Others included Kamal Hassouneh the PA Economic Minister, and Azzam el-Ahmad, a PA parliament member and a member of Fatah's Revolutionary Council. Fadwa Barghouti, wife of imprisoned Fatah leader and intifada architect Marwan Barghouti, was also present.
(Story continues below)
According to a Fatah source in the mourning tent, the Fatah delegation promised to rebuild the Shehadi family home after Israel bulldozed the house immediately following the notorious attack in which a terrorist gunman two weeks ago infiltrated the Mercaz Harav Yeshiva, located near the entrance to Jerusalem, and fired hundreds of rounds of bullets at students studying in the building's main library.
Immediately following the massacre, which was carried out by an Arab resident of eastern Jerusalem, WND quoted senior Israeli and Palestinian security officials stating Shehadi planned the massacre from the West Bank city of Bethlehem on behalf of the Hezbollah terrorist group.
Israeli forces raided Bethlehem two weeks ago and demolished Shehadi's house, but the terrorist remained at large until Thursday, when Israeli forces killed Shehadi along with three other gunmen, including Ahmed Dalbul, a Bethlehem-area leader of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, Fatah's declared military wing.
According to security officials speaking to WND, Shehadi was killed after the Israeli military received intelligence he was scheduled to attend a Fatah planning meeting in Bethlehem.
Shehadi ran as a Fatah candidate in the 2006 Palestinian elections, but he lost.
According to Palestinian security officials familiar with Shehadi, after losing the 2006 election as a Fatah leader, Shehadi worked for about six months for the Islamic Jihad terror group but then switched back to Fatah.
Israeli security sources said Shehadi previously assisted in terrorist attacks carried out from the Bethlehem area by the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, including an attempting car bombing in 2001 and a shooting that same year in which two Israeli motorists were murdered.
Israeli media whitewashing 'peace partner'?
In spite of his Fatah activism, the Israeli media largely has been portraying Shehadi as an Islamic Jihad terrorist.
Yediot Aharonot, Israel's leading daily, identified Shehadi as "an Islamic Jihad operative," who planned the Jerusalem yeshiva shooting. Israel's Haaretz newspaper reported Shehadi was "the commander of Islamic Jihad in the Bethlehem area," and was killed along with "two other Islamic Jihad members." Israel's Channel 2 identified Shehadi as Islamic Jihad.
None of the Israeli media reports described Shehadi as working for Fatah.
A senior Palestinian security official speaking to WND said Shehadi continued to work with Islamic Jihad sporadically but he was more identified with Fatah.
"He was Fatah," said the security official. "In the last few weeks, he was working only with Fatah. Islamic Jihad might consider him among their men in Bethlehem, but it's absolutely wrong for Haaretz to label him as the Islamic Jihad commander."
The U.S. considers Fatah to be moderate. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's government has been holding regular negotiations with Abbas' officials in line with last November's U.S.-backed Annapolis Summit, which seeks to create a Fatah-led Palestinian state by the end of the year.
