(IsraelNN.com) Overnight Monday, a court-sanctioned contractor confiscated a flock of sheep from the Arab squatters who are occupying the property of Yitzchak Herskovitz beneath Jerusalem's Givat HaMatos neighborhood, on the outskirts of Beit Safafa.

Police failed to implement a prior court-order restoring the property to Herskovitz, and a prior attempt to confiscate the flock of sheep to pay for court costs was thwarted by the squatters.

"It is a small victory that does not even begin to cover court costs," says Herskovitz, "but it is a victory nonetheless."
